Mary's are kicking off their monthly hospo parties on monthly Mondays with a guest star service form famed vegan chef Shannon Martinez from Melbourne's Smith & Daughters. Melbourne is about as vegan-friendly as a major city gets in the Antipodes, but for one night only Martinez is bringing her skills to bear on recreating a Mary's-style fast food menu that's totally plant-based. You can get a burger made with an all vegan patty, "bacon", "cheese" and sauce; a riff on fried chicken; mash and gravy and Reuben loaded fries with sauerkraut, pickles, "cheese sauce", and "pastrami" brought up especially from Smith and Deli.

Mary's vegan menu will be available during service on Monday Jan 28, so if you're less "I'm vegan because I love my greens" and more "I'm for the the ethical treatment of animals, but gosh I miss junk food", this is your chance to deep dive on a full diner blow out, complete with delicious wines, secure in the knowledge that no animals were harmed in the making of your cheesy fries.
