Stop the presses! We've always wanted to say that. Everyone's favourite fishmongers and Sydney hospitality giants, Josh and Julie Niland have announced that their famous fishy fare will now be available for delivery from Friday, May 13.
The Saint Peter and Fish Butchery pioneers are offering finish at home meal kits of fish pies with salad; prawn dumplings with silken tofu and Szechuan-style eggplant; fish tacos with Murray cod skewers and corn tortillas; that fish cheeseburger party box; and finally the Mount Cook Atlantic salmon wellington with mushroom and nori duxelles with all the trimmings.
Easy dinner staples of yellowfin tuna spring rolls, swordfish empanadas, tuna lasagne and Fish Butchery's own sauces and soups are also available to get delivered straight to your home, proving that there are forces greater than ourselves at play.
But wait, there's more. The whole Fish range of charcuterie and sausages can, should, and will be yours too. Salmon pastrami, cod bacon, even fresh fish fillets, shell-on cooked prawns, and Cloudy Bay vongole clams are available.
Masterclasses with Josh Niland are also back after a pandemic hiatus. Masterclasses include how to dry-age fish, butchery basics, fish charcuterie and the ins and outs of the seafood economy. The BYO booze masterclasses are $330 per person and include dinner by the fish fiends themselves.
Orders for delivery are available across the Sydney metro area and will be delivered once a week on Fridays by heading to the online shop here.
