This Mardi Gras, the crew at Heaps Gay is heading back to Sydney Uni's Manning House and Gardens for their annual Pardi Gras party. They'll be sprawling across three stages on March 2 and are bringing a bunch of killer international queer acts to this year's party.
They've just announced the theme is “Camp Country”, so you can expect a full-on Mardi Gras bush doof (in Camperdown) headlined by American rapper Le1f, London electropop duo Nimmo, and Balitmore rapper TT The Artist.
But here's some potentially upsetting news: it's totally sold out.
And here's some better news: Heaps Gay is throwing a free party on February 28 (with a little help from Beats by Dre) with those three acts and free drinks, food and shows.
For your chance to get tickets to the party – which will take place in an as-yet-unannounced heritage-listed warehouse in the city – just email rsvp@heapsgay.com with your name and headline “HGxBEATS Party”. Winners will be notified on February 22.
