The next time you’re strolling down Spring Street on your way to Westfield Chatswood, you may stumble upon a 22-metre-high glowing Ferris wheel. The light-strewn structure is being rolled in for Vivid, so eager light hunters can gaze down at the area’s illuminated installations from new heights.
They’re calling it the Bella Vista Ferris Wheel, and you can do the shinning wheel wave to the city for $8 per ticket from May 24-June 14. Once you’ve taken your gentle spin, there’s more fun to be had. Head to the mall around the corner and play nine holes of free glow-in-the-dark mini golf from May 25-June 9.
Many other corners of Chatswood will be sparkling in the dark as part of Vivid Light. Float like a moth between glowing musical gardens, a giant illuminated harp and luminescent robots when the lights switch on at 6pm.
