Time Out says

Head to the Studio in Sydney Opera House on the first weekend of December and you’ll get two indie darlings for the price of one in a co-headline show. Under her Waxahatchee alias, Alabama’s Katie Crutchfield has released four albums of critically-acclaimed, powerful folk-rock, and her all-female backing band includes her twin sister Allison. Texan Kevin Morby is also four albums into his career, at least as a solo performer, and his work has earned comparisons to everyone from Bob Dylan to Lee Hazlewood. Upon meeting in 2016, the pair bonded over a love of late singer-songwriter Jason Molina, and they recorded covers of two Molina-penned songs earlier this year, with all proceeds going to a charity supporting musicians’ mental health. Expect slide guitar, timeless melodies and maybe, just maybe, a duet or two.
