Psst… have you heard the news?! Vanfest – one of Australia’s most popular regional boutique music festivals – is officially back with a new look, new location and epic line-up of chart-topping local artists.
After calling the NSW town of Forbes home for eight hugely successful years, Vanfest is packing up and moving to the iconic location of Mount Panorama in Bathurst. The change in scenery has been prompted by the ongoing expansion of the festival, and a need to re-energise and support the region’s music and tourism sectors in the wake of Covid-19.
To celebrate the festival shake-up the exciting list of music acts has just dropped – and it’s seriously impressive. The line-up features a number of award-winning Australian and New Zealand artists, including Tones and I, Tash Sultana, Hilltop Hoods, Hockey Dad, Mashd N Kutcher and heaps more.
But wait, there’s more! Aside from the musical entertainment there will also be market stalls, pop-up bars, VIP experiences, adrenaline rides and food stalls. Extensive campground facilities will be set up for those keen to stay on-site, otherwise Bathurst is home to a number of affordable accommodation options.
Vanfest is happening on December 2 and 3 at Mount Panorama in Bathurst. Tickets go on sale on July 7. For more information, head to the website.
