Time Out says

Sounds on the Terrace offers that cool Sydney sundown experience without the big spend, serving up a sparkling roster of local tunes on their rooftop for free. These parties run once a month and coincide with the gallery's Wednesday night Lights on Later program, which sees the MCA swing open its doors until 9pm, meaning you can grab a brew, catch some live music and then peruse the MCA's free exhibitions. The MCA Café will be on snack duty, and as always the Sculpture Terrace's panoramic views of Sydney Harbour will provide a sublime backdrop for the gigs.

Alt-rock Byron Bay crooners Moreton will round out the year with a set beside the Gypsys of Pangea, who combine bluesy rock and psychedelic sounds for a mesmerising live show. The final show kicks off at 6.30pm, so you can float in after work and let the hump day blues drift away on a sea of sound.
