Time Out says

Are you ready to rock and/or roll? Some good old fashioned Oz rock is coming to the Crescent, Parramatta Park to blast away the cobwebs in a free concert featuring some big names.

Australian Rock Collective (ARC), the supergroup featuring Kram from Spiderbait, Davey Lane from You Am I, Mark Wilson from Jet and Darren Middleton from Powderfinger, is performing, as are the ‘Golden’ guys Kingswood, with vintage hard rockers Baby Animals and Jon Stevens to round out the evening. And just to underline the point, the fireworks on stage will be followed by some literal fireworks in the air.

Gates open from 4pm with the concert commencing from 4.45pm and the pyrotechnic finale at 9pm. A great selection of food and drinks to buy is promised, or you can pack a picnic. And yes, it's free, and you don't have to book. Totally awesome.
