Time Out says

Mamma mia, here we go again. Night at the Barracks is back with another season of stellar concerts by Australia’s biggest names in music from September 15 to October 8. Returning to the starlit skies of North Head Barracks, you’ll have the chance to dance along to legendary Aussie rockers Hoodoo Gurus, ARIA-winning singer-songwriter Missy Higgins, the iconic Tina Arena, Björn Again and more.

Manly’s hidden wonderland at North Head Barracks has been unlocked for the second year of this outdoor concert series, which celebrated its inaugural season with Jessica Mauboy, the Rubens and Tim Finn in 2022. This enchanting location, which was previously the Army Barracks and Quarantine Stations, is steeped in natural and historical beauty in the spectacular setting of North Head.

Hoodoo Gurus will kick off the incredible program on September 15, followed by a line-up of ARIA, Grammy and World Music Award-winning artists including Missy Higgins and Tina Arena. Veteran tribute act Björn Again will return to the stage in 2023 to perform ABBA’s greatest hits, while James Morrison is also back with his Motown Experience. Other concerts to look forward to include Kate Ceberano’s exclusive Sydney show with the Metropolitan Orchestra performing her new album My Life is a Symphony, Tom Burlinson Big Band’s performance of Sinatra and the Kings of Swing, the debut Sydney performance of History of House featuring Groove Terminator and the Soweto Gospel Choir, and the Rolling Stones Revue featuring Adalita, Tex Perkins and Tim Rogers doing the best of Mick, Keif and the gang.

Come early for a bite and a beverage under the Manly stars with lots of local food and beverage vendors on-site for your pre-show or intermission snacks.

Tickets for Night at the Barracks go on sale at 9am on May 24 and start at just $79. Set your alarms and register for exclusive ticket access here.
