One of the biggest selling artists of all time, a pop icon and the woman who made James Packer cough up millions as an ‘inconvenience fee’, Mariah Carey, is headed to our shores in 2018.
If you’re a fan of the singer-songwriter then October 12 will be ‘One Sweet Day’ as she performs hits like ‘We Belong Together’, ‘Hero’ and ‘Vision of Love’ at Qudos Bank Arena. She was originally scheduled to play Parramatta Park on February 10 but had to reschedule due to an expansion of the tour.
After beginning her career while still a teenager, Carey quickly rose to prominence thanks to her incredible five-octave vocal range and songwriting ability (she wrote almost all of her Billboard number one singles). She’s now sold over 220 million records and been awarded several Grammys and American Music Awards.
With 2018 marking 30 years since Carey started working in the music industry there’s no better way to celebrate her sultry voice than by watching her perform live.
Tickets go on sale at 2pm Thursday February 1.
