Join the Dots

Kids in Sydney can communicate with other children in Japan as they make art together in a real-time digital project. Head to the Drama Theatre foyer and you can connect with kids at the Art Museum and Library, Ōta, via video link as you make one huge projected drawing on the Opera House walls. Join the Dots is inspired by manga and traditional Japanese iconography. Artists Nobumasa Takahashi and Jacqui Stockdale collaborate to make the freehand illustrations appear simultaneously on walls 8,000 km apart.
