On All Hallow's Eve, the Ritz Cinema in Randwick will host a dark gathering of cult film lovers, treating the horde of ghoulish figures to cocktails, undead makeovers and a showing of Creature from the Black Lagoon. The theme for the evening will honour the marine monster from the 1954 film, with horrific aquatic makeup and nautical drinks.
For your $20 ticket, you’ll be awarded a comfy seat in the Ritz’s 80-year-old art deco theatre, get two sailor-worthy spiced rum cocktails, some salty under-the-sea snacks and, if you so desire, face painting in the horror parlour.
