Join the Time Out gang and Golden Age Cinema for a very special screening of a tense, stylish and devilishly entertaining thriller.
Blood Simple is the 1984 debut of filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen and is in the vein of their masterpieces Fargo and No Country for Old Men.
A dark, brutal, twisty noir set in Texas, it stars Frances McDormand in her movie debut as Abby, who's having an affair with a bartender (John Getz). Abby's husband (Dan Hedaya) hires a private detective (M Emmet Walsh) to kill them both. Things get – well, messy.
The screening is on Wednesday November 16 and you can book tickets now.
