The boy from Warrnambool turned one of Australia’s most popular comedians, Tom Ballard, is back at this year's Sydney Comedy Festival with his new show Enough. The show will run for four nights from Thursday May 9 to Sunday May 12 at the Giant Dwarf in Redfern.
Featuring his trademark politically-charged humour, Ballard will discuss the structures in our society he finds most appalling, to hilarious results. Expect a thoughtful take-down of politicians, neoliberalism and what our future holds for us.
He’s a pretty accomplished guy – you may know him from his successful career on the live comedy circuit, his hosting gig for Tonightly with Tom Ballard on the ABC, his podcast, or his morning breakfast slot on Triple J with friend Alex Dyson. His appearance at this year’s festival follows his 2017 offering Problematic, which earned him the Best of the Fest award for the best local performer. He’s been nominated for numerous awards at home and overseas, including Best Newcomer and Best Show at Edinburgh International Comedy Festival, so you’re in very safe hands for a fantastic night out.
