Time Out says

If you’re a fan of British comedy, then chances are you’ll recognise the name Russell Howard. From sell-out world tours to viral videos, hilarious podcast Wonderbox, and two highly successful Netflix specials, this Bristol-born comedian has been dominating the global comedy circuit on and off television.

Now, Howard’s busting out and going international once again. He’s crisscrossing the globe to Australia on a brand-new world tour – Russell Howard Live – and will perform in Sydney for one exclusive night on Thursday, February 15.

If Howard’s last tour is anything to go by, you’ll want to snap up tickets fast. The stand-up star has already sold more than 250,000 tickets to 100 gigs and counting for Russell Howard Live in the UK alone. Judging by the fact that he has clocked more than 1 billion views and 9 million followers on social media, there’s no question that he has a mega Aussie fan base too.

The stand-up star’s latest and largest sell-out world tour, Respite, concluded with Howard taping his second Netflix special Lubricant, which earned him the title of the only comedian to have two of the top ten most-streamed specials across all platforms in the UK. Most recently, Howard also launched his sixth series of The Russell Howard Hour on YouTube, featuring in-depth interviews with fascinating guests like Ed Sheeran, Greta Thunberg and Matthew McConaughey. Trust us, he’s a pretty big deal.

You can catch the comedy king at the ICC Sydney Theatre on February 15, with tickets available for $91.60 here
