Time Out says

Performing a circus act while getting absolutely soaked sounds like quite a recipe for disaster. The only way to survive? Adding a bit of cheeky humour and non-stop clowning to the mix.

Contemporary and queer production house, Scratch Arts, is bringing its award-winning show, Moist, to the people of Sydney for one last time. Playing in the Vault at Spiegeltent Festival Garden from August 31 to September 10, this circus and comedy spectacle is as daring and edgy as Sydney Fringe Festival gets.

Audiences will be left laughing, gasping and blushing as they witness four total thirst traps perform jaw-dropping stunts, high-energy acrobatics and risqué jokes – all while getting soaking wet.

Moist is directed by multitalented performer Timothy Christopher Ryan and strongman the Mighty Caesar. The pair will push their bodies to the limits on stage alongside UK hula hooper Peter Welters and cyr wheel heartthrob Josh Duncan.

This queer circus spectacle recently won the weekly award for Best Circus at Adelaide Fringe 2023, so you can bet tickets will sell out fast. Adult tickets are on sale now for $41, or you can purchase group tickets for six or more people for $35 each.
