It's not just you – Sydney really is freakin' freezing RN. Mondays aren't the easiest day of the week to jump out of bed, but this morning was made even harder by a very aggressive cold snap over night. Temperatures dropped to just eight degrees overnight and the 'feels-like' temperature in the city this morning was just 3.2 degrees, making this morning feel like one of the coldest days of 2016. The Bureau of Meteorology's 'feels-like' temperature takes into account humidity and wind speed, which significantly change our personal experience of the weather. So while it may be nine degrees, it feels like it's freezing because of the lack of humidity and serious wind chill factor – that's why Sydney feels so cold.

While it's this cold stay warm and make your way through our bumper list of 101 things to do indoorscosy up in a pub with a fireplace or heat yourself up with some of Sydney's best soups.
