Sydney, on the shortest day of the year you have been blessed with a true, wintery treat... Butter is now doing fried chicken ramen. As if the two rambunctiously fatty snacks weren't enough to break even the strongest clean-eater, Sydney's shoe-boxed fried chicken joint is now putting them together.

In place of the typical rounds of smoky pork chasu, you'll find a two tenders of fried chook. It comes in a rich tonkotsu and chicken broth, with an egg and enoki mushrooms.

People go nuts for fried chicken and queue for ramen, so we can have to assume it's going to be some sort of Battle Royale type scenario to get a bowl, but if you want to try your luck the special will be available lunch Monday through Thursday from 11.30am-3.30pm.

Happy winter solstice Sydney – now go eat some ramen.
