Are you prepared for Sydney's most carb-fuelled food truck? Then get ready to feast your eyes on the Two Hungry Italiani, Sydney's new pasta and pizza-mobile. Started up by Antonio Tarzia (who's also behind Weatherill Park restaurant Grano and café the Factoria), the Two Hungry Italiani is a dark green vintage pick-up truck that's a carb lover's dream on four wheels. It comes complete with a fully functioning wood-fired oven on the back of it. This is where you'll find them cooking up grilled porchetta and pizzas. But the true star of this truck is the mash-up of two of Italy's most loved staples: pasta, which comes served in a wood-fired pizza dough bowl.

Choose from spaghetti salsiccia e pomodoro (Italian pork sausage in a red tomato sauce), veal ragù or go veggo with cherry tomatoes, mushroom, basil, olive oil and ricotta. Once you've finished the pasta, you can enjoy the leftover sauce in the charred pizza base bowl.

These guys regularly pop up all around Sydney, including at Paddy's Night Food Markets, pre and post games at ANZ Stadium and at the Peakhurst Foodies and Farmers Markets. Keep your eyes on the Two Hungry Italiani Facebook to see where they will be next.
