One of Sydney's best burger spots is doing a pop-up

They took out one of the top spots in our best burgers list, and now Burger Head is continuing its quest out west, opening a pop-up outlet in Beaumont Hills from Wed, Sep 6. Richard Borg, Joshua DeLuca and Timothy Rosenstrauss opened the first Burger Head in Penrith to much success, firing up classic, American-style cheeseburgers with juicy meat, tacky melted cheese, lots of pickles, onions and mustard mayo.

The pedigree of these burger-flippers are second-to-none, with the trio behind the restaurant working for just about every hatted restaurant in Sydney including Momofuku Seibo, Quay and Ormeggio. The boys hatched the idea for the burger spot while working at Master before it shut its doors in Surry Hills.

They're also going to be doing a vending-machine-meets-grill-monster, the Twistie Burger, which sees a Twistie-encrusted milk bun sandwich, an Angus beef patty, Twisties, bacon jam, dill pickles, onion, American cheese and Twisties mayo.

They haven't confirmed a closing date yet, so get in while the grill is hot and keep an eye on the Burger Head Facebook for more details.
