What’s the 411? MJ is in the House… or will be very soon.
If you were getting low in the early noughties, you’ll no doubt have a soft spot for the queen of R‘n’B Mary J Blige. The ‘Family Affair’ and ‘No More Drama’ singer-songwriter will has just announced she’ll be playing at Sydney Opera House for the very first time on April 10, 2017.
She’s been touring almost every year since 1997, but has never before performed at the House. If you want to see the nine-time Grammy Award winner, tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday December 2. Tickets are $109, plus booking fee, which seems a reasonable price to pay for a superstar whose career spans two decades.
