St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival teased a couple of names over the past two weeks, including announcing that A.B Original will be the festival’s MC and performing artist, plus news that the festival will be Nick Murphy’s first Australian show since dropping the alias Chet Faker.

Today, the boutique music festival dropped its full line-up including some familiar faces from the festival’s past, like Jagwar Ma, and some emerging talent from home, like Adelaide’s Jess Kent. Sydney’s Laneway Festival takes at Sydney College of the Arts, Rozelle, on Saturday February 4.

With talk of A.B Original’s latest single ‘January 26th’ as a contender for the number one spot on the Triple J Hottest 100 (in protest of the station’s resolve to keep the countdown on Australia Day), we’re excited to see what Briggs and Trials do with their platform as the festival’s hosts.

Tame Impala, Nick Murphy, Camp Cope and Floating Points’ performances will all be Laneway exclusives – so make sure you snap up tickets if you’re keen to see them on stage this summer, as there won’t be any sideshows from them.

From overseas, there’s ‘Running With Wolves’ singer Aurora, Canadian duo Bob Moses, Seattle-based singer/songwriter Car Seat Headrest, hip hop producer Clams Casino, Manchester DJ Floating Points (playing live), English band Glass Animals, Chicago’s Mick Jenkins, San Francisco-born Mr Carmack and East-London artist NAO and Berlin producer Roland Tings. See the full 2017 line-up below.
