That's right, folks, you can now indulge in a morning of scones, cakes and tiny sandwiches on the Luna Park ferris wheel. Every Saturday morning from Aug 4 until Sep 16 the Deck will be filling those colourful carriages with Champagne, finger sandwiches, goat’s curd and pumpkin quiche, croissants, pork and fennel sausage rolls, scones with preserves and clotted cream and a chocolate pot covered in raspberry gel and popping candy. Each carriage sits up to four people for an hour of fancy tea with unrivalled views out over Sydney Harbour.
It'll set you back $75 per person for the lofty experience, and tickets go on sale on Thu 8 June, and since arcing gracefully through the air with hot beverages on board sounds dangerous, after your ride you can head to the Deck for tea, coffee and orange juice.
