As if it wasn't already the most Instagram-able spot in Sydney, Icebergs have gone and given you yet another reason to spend all your summer days in Bondi. Down at the south end of the beach, the swanky-beach-club-meets-restaurant hot spot has just opened up Icebergs Terrace for the season. The Astro-Turfed outdoor bar will be dishing out a special menu from Executive Chef Monty Koludrovic so you can get your summer snack on with freshly shucked oysters, smoked Atlantic cod croquettes and salt'n'vinegar fries. They'll also be doing an 'Iceburger'. That's a single or double Angus beef patty, special Icebergs burger sauce, cheese, tomato, lettuce and onion on a sesame seed bun.
Drinks-wise you'll be able to soak up views of the Pacific Ocean with a wine, cocktail or Heineken in hand, and we can thoroughly recommend the No. 8 – a bitter, Italian stirred down number with vodka, Campari and red grapefruit – that's also on the menu at the Dolphin in Surry Hills, or a No. 147 – a fruity ramble of coconut liqueur, passionfruit, pineapple, lime and falernum. If you're a;; about the classics there's not many places better for a round of Negronis and Martinis. We're pretty sure this is how you make it your #bestsummerever.
Icebergs Terrace is open now, daily next to Icebergs Dining Room and Bar. 1 Notts Ave, Bondi 2026.
