The team behind some of Sydney's biggest music festivals – Field Day, Listen Out, Harbourlife et al – will be making a baby with Sydney's mega winter festival, Vivid. Curve Ball will take place in the industrial bays of Carriageworks on Saturday June 11 with an locally-skewed electronic line-up.

Enigmatic electronic producer Zhu leads the line-up, alongside Sydney's own Cosmo's Midnight, Joy and Nicole Millar (all of whom make an appearance in Time Out's Sydney musicians you need to know list), with Basenji, Elk Road, Cleopold and Yuma X rounding out the line-up.

Fuzzy director John Wall tells Time Out, "For a long time we at Fuzzy have been wanting do an indoor event in a big industrial space like Bay 22-24 at Carraigeworks, so we’re extremely excited to be doing this as part of Vivid with one of our favourite artists Zhu headlining. We’re going all-out on the sound system and video-projections to make this the party we’ve always wanted to go to."

Keep your eyes out for more details on the line-up. Tickets on sale midday Tue April 5.
