Josh is back. Owner of Burgers by Josh, Josh Arthurs, called us here at Time Out HQ to reveal that as of Wednesday July 13, he and his kickass burger team will be back at the Annandale and will stay there for one month. According to Arthurs, it will be his last pop-up before he sets up a permanent space later in the year.

All the regular burgers will be on there. That means the Infamous Primo – two wagyu patties, double American cheese, chipotle mayo, crisp bacon, onion rings, jalapeños and lettuce stuffed inside a milk bun – and the Jurassic fries will be back, thank the Lord (for those who are yet to have the pleasure, they’re shoestring fries layered up with liquid cheese and smoky, spiced mayo).

But Arthurs is also starting up a new concept: Hacks by Josh. These are the additions you can add to your burger to make it ultra-extreme. Sure you can have chicken, onion rings, an extra patty or cheese, but how about some of the new guys: a macaroni cheese patty crumbed in Cheetos cheese and bacon balls, or a melty deep-fried cheese patty made from American, mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses.

Burgers by Josh will be onsite at the Annandale for four weeks, with a planned closure date of Tuesday August 9.

Get in line, Sydney. The queues, if their last pop-ups are anything to go by, are set to be huge.
