There are a lot of things that we like to think define us as a true Sydneysider: hating on the lockouts, owning a pair of Stan Smiths, having a close relationship with your barista and being very proud/smug about our beautiful harbourside. But if there's one thing that truly unites our city, it'd have to be complaining about the weather. This week you're getting a really good reason to complain about the weather as the Bureau of Meteorology have issued a marine wind warning for the Sydney coastline for today and tomorrow. This basically means a serious cold snap is coming our way. The warning was issued for the Byron Coast, Coffs Coast, Macquarie Coast, Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast and Illawarra Coast. According to BOM marine weather warnings are issued whenever strong winds, gales, storm force or hurricane force winds are expected. Rug up, Sydney and reinforce those umbrellas.
If you're not lucky enough to be jetting off to a European summer like so many of our mates seem to be, stay warm with Sydney's best hot chocolates or get busy with our bumper list of 101 things to do indoors.
