[title]Like Christmas, but with more hops and fewer elves, Good Beer Week is an annual celebration of all things brewed and beautiful. Featuring over 270 events, from beer and cheese tasting sessions to parties with DJs and bands to a night of "beer inspired fashion" hosted by a stylist (no really), Good Beer Week has something for everyone and their dog.
The festival (which is actually way longer than a week) stretches from Friday May 13 to Sunday May 22, and you'll find venues all over Melbourne participating.
Right now, you might be thinking "Oh, boo. Melbourne. That's not the place where I live." And this may well be so. But do not despair. Because you can always visit Melbourne to participate in Good Beer Week. In fact, visiting Melbourne to participate in Good Beer Week is such a good idea, the nice people who organise the festival, along with Tourism Victoria, would like to send one lucky person and their specially anointed friend down to Good Beer Week... For. Free.
They're offering the chance to have a 'Good Beer Weekend', including flights, accommodation and tickets to some of the week's most popular events. To enter, grab yourself a copy of the Good Beer Week program (which you can find in over 70 venues nationwide), take a photo of said program and post it to social media, along with the following sentence: "Fly me to @goodbeerweek for a #goodbeerweekend because..."
