There are few sounds more glorious in life than Wayward Brewery’s Raspberry Berliner Weisse cracking open. A deliciously refreshing brew bursting with bright raspberries and a crisp dry finish, the sour beer is undoubtedly one of life’s great pleasures. But really, you can’t go wrong with any one of Wayward’s 24 craft beers on tap including the Everyday Ale, an easy-drinking Australian pale ale, or the Hazy IPA. Couple that with tasty food and a relaxed venue (the beer hall used to be an old winery) and it’s easy to see why the Camperdown brewery is much-loved (and has won a stack of awards).

In great news for booze hounds, Wayward Brewery is now serving cocktails and spirits for the first time ever, alongside its offering of beers, seltzers, wine and soft drinks – so everyone can pull up a stool and be happy. Choose from a Negroni, Old Fashioned, Sour Spritz and more.

Of course, great drinks call for great snacks, so Wayward Brewing Co have also launched its first food truck, Wayward Eats, parked at the brewery. On the menu expect to find Des’ Famous Burgers (our pick is the peri peri chicken with succulent house-marinated chicken, lettuce, tomato, guac and spicy mayo), as well as the usual suspects – done well – such as chicken wings, wedges and salt and pepper squid.

Waywards’ new menu also caters to vegetarians, vegans and to those who are gluten free. Be sure to try the popcorn cauliflower and the Wayward garden burger with a lentil patty, fresh salad, vegan cheese, mayo and beetroot relish.

From weekly trivia nights to monthly comedy showcases, Wayward is all about supporting and bringing the local community together. So grab your mates and head on down to Wayward to check out the new food and drinks offering. Come hungry and thirsty.
