The Time Out Sydney Bar Awards 2020 will be held at the Powerhouse Museum on Monday December 9. Join us, along with host Matt Okine, as we toast the city’s best cocktail bars, new bars, wine bars, bartenders and more at the party for the party-makers.
You can expect an evening of delicious drinks, great food, sweet tunes and celebration, shoulder-to-shoulder with the city's best bar professionals. The eats will come courtesy of Eat Art Truck, Chur Burger Food Truck and Vejoes Food Truck. The Imperial Hotel Drag Queens will be strutting their stuff, along with the team from Retrosweat, and the Dollar Bin Darlings will be DJing the disco grooves.

The 2020 Time Out Bar Awards are taking place at the beginning of a new phase for Sydney. The recently published recommendations of a Joint Select Committee investigating the effect of the lockout laws called for them to be rolled back, and NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian has also called for the laws to be repealed.
Time Out has helped to spearhead these changes, and our Bar Awards 2020 will be a celebration of Sydney's stunning and resilient night-time scene.
