Head upstairs at the Edinburgh Castle tonight (Thursday October 6) from 5.30pm for the next instalment of the Wine Workshops, this month showcasing with two labels – Pepper Tree and Briar Ridge Vineyard.

Pepper Tree Winery was founded in 1991 and is acknowledged as one of the most awarded boutique wineries in Australia, amassing a show record out of all proportion to its size, including the Jimmy Watson Trophy. Pepper Tree produces premium varietal wines sourced from its own vineyards in the Hunter, Orange, Coonawarra and Wrattonbully regions.

Gwyn Olsen was recently appointed head winemaker at Pepper Tree, following the outstanding growth and wine show success over the past two years as winemaker and general manager of Briar Ridge Vineyard. Her awards include Gourmet Traveller Young Winemaker of the Year 2014.

At tonight’s free event you can chat directly with Gwyn; taste a selection of wines; enjoy complimentary cheese platters; and purchase your favourite wine to take home.

The Edinburgh Castle is at 294 Pitt Street, Sydney.
