The latest Sydney refurb is the Push, a stripped back bar beneath the Russell Hotel that takes its cues from the history of the Rocks. The name comes from a blues and jazz club that operated in the Rocks in the 70’s, known as the Rocks Push, and before that a local gang of the same name. Expect cocktails, beers, pork pies, Scotch eggs, Cajun spiced school prawns, a deconstructed Reuben and a dessert jaffle of bread and butter pudding.
