There's something strange and forlorn about a dive bar during the day. Walking past the Pickled Possum during daylight hours you could be forgiven for thinking the place was abandoned. Come night time, however, the Neutral Bay nightspot is alive with punters looking to let off steam. Because if you’re going to sing crap karaoke pop songs to a crowded room, it may as well be a place where no one cares and anything goes. The Possum has been in operation since the 1970s and is a bit of a local Neutral Bay legend; leave your pretensions at the door please.
