Time Out says

Bar menus that don’t feature burgers, the obligatory salad, fries and wings as stomach primers are few and far between, which is why the Fox Hole is a good shout if you’ve got bar food fatigue. Their thing is pork buns, dumplings and cheese boards, which is a slightly odd mix of savouries but ticks all the boxes for booze-friendly snacks without requiring a deep fryer. The long trestle tables give this corner café and bar a nostalgic, canteen feel, and the compact menu is right for your mate who can’t make a decision until everyone else at the table has ordered. Wines here sit at the level required for smashing back alongside a fluffy pork bun; they’ve got Monteith’s and Tiger beers on tap; and there’s five classic entry-level cocktails if you need something stronger. It’s a simple operation, but it gets the job done.
