Soirée is inspired by the fashion and design icons of the 1960s and is conveniently located at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in the CBD on Phillip Street. The bar pays tribute to the rich heritage of the hotel, which was completed in 1966 and was the first five-star hotel in Sydney. Choose from a range of cocktails named after screen sirens of the era, including The Avengers-themed Emma Peel 1961, Bond-inspired Pussy Galore 1964 and the Brigitte Bardot 1962. There's also nightly specials on offer and live jazz every Friday night. Feeling peckish? The bar menu features '60s cuisine including devilled eggs, shrimp cocktails, fondue and French onion dips. Just got paid? There’s also caviar, oysters and lobster on the menu.
