The seaside version of the inner-city Pocket Bar is just as flash as its Sydney counterpart, with the welcome addition of ocean views and a fresh salty breeze. They’re also a generous bunch who understand the need for little culinary encouragements throughout the week.
On Mondays they honour all the workers who have been slogging it out in kitchens and behind bars, with 20 per cent taken off the bill for all brave hospitality folk. Just bring your RSA card or a payslip to prove you number among their ranks.
Everyone gets an incentive to pig out on Tuesdays, with an extra share plate coming out for free when you order any two from the menu. Choose house favourites like the arancini with wild mushrooms, truffle-infused polenta fries and cheeseburgers transformed into spring rolls.
Naturally, Friday is all about the drinks. The three top-selling cocktails will go for $12 until 7pm, so make sure you nab a spot at the bar.
