Time Out says

Mary’s Pitt Street is the fourth instalment of what might be Sydney’s most beloved burger bar, sited on the fringe of the CBD and Surry Hills. The signature rock ‘n’ roll swagger remains, as does the menu’s line-up of usual suspects: the Mary’s and mushroom burgers, the stupidly crisp and juicy fried chicken, the mash and gravy. And with them comes the epic vegan menu that launched at the Circular Quay outlet in early 2019 (fried cauliflower FTW).

As always, drinks are a crucial part of the picture, and to that end, the wines are natural-leaning with a focus on Australia and New Zealand, the cocktails skew rum-heavy and there's a handful of tinnies on hand as well. Basically, it’s another excuse to indulge in everything you know and love about these guys.

The only major differences? It's got the trappings of a slightly more grown-up spot (plush carpeting, cushioned seating, Chesterfield banquettes) it's all table service – and in a first for Mary's – you can book for groups of eight or more. Party on.
