Famed Randwick establishment Randy Wixs has been reborn with a killer ambiance and poppin’ electronic sound. They've totally decked out the place and reimagined it for a new late-night live music experience for Sydneysiders.
The new and improved Kalyx Lounge Bar and Club features retro bohemian decor and a gig line-up so expansive it’s sure to lure any partygoer inside. Kalyx is open for business in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs, located conveniently in Randwick. The two-storey lounge and club is pokie-free, focusing their attention instead on live acts that range from bands and local DJs to international drop ins.
Ringing true to the name ‘Kalyx Culture’, you’re sure to go on an international journey with acts dabbling in cultures from around the world. Once a month Kalyx puts on display in collaboration with Deliv’art, with an intimate interactive French cabaret display. Wednesdays are reserved for their signature fusion jazz nights, and Thursday nights are a mash-up of dub, reggae, hip hop and live music.
