It took three years to revamp the three Hs, but now the Hunters Hill Hotel boasts a new restaurant, a playground, parking for 136 cars and a 160” high definition weatherproof TV, perfect for the cricket, footy or soccer seasons. They also host a weekly trivia in the front bar, run by the jovial Andy from Innquizitive Trivia. This happy, fun fast-paced evening navigates eight rounds of 10 questions, mostly skewed toward pot luck and music genres. There's also a ponderous puzzle in which teams are slowly fed information – the sooner you answer the more points your team receives. The crowd is a mix between local family and trivia nuts. They also have a Facebook page that gives three clues to help you prep so study up. They've got plenty of beers on tap, the white wine list is decent and the chicken parmy makes for pretty good brain fuel.
