This suits-and-ties pub with its crisp, classic style services the local banker community (money may never sleep, but it sure does like to drink). And if you're more of the Converse-and-jeans persuasion, be cheered by the bar food. Jeremy Strode, renowned chef, has recently taken over at Bistro CBD - and you can eat his food in the downstairs bar for a fraction of the price as in the restaurant. Plus they do a fish finger sarnie. Winner! While the conversation at this bar is geared more towards aggressive portfolios and timeshare than most other bars in the area, there's lots to like about it. Head here on a Friday afternoon and nab one of the outside tables for stylish city-centre boozing.
