Kaldor Public Art Projects have been turning the heads of Sydneysiders since the late 1960s when Christo and Jeanne-Claude wrapped a piece of Sydney coastline.
Since then, we’ve seen 15,000 shields fill the Royal Botanic Garden, a giant puppy made of flowers in Circular Quay, a Walsh Bay wharf transformed into 13 rooms of wonder, and many more unforgettable art installations in public spaces. Artists showcased include a roll call of contemporary greats, including Marina Abramovic, Gilbert and George, Sol LeWitt, Bill Viola and Jonathan Jones.
In 2017, Kaldor is bringing French-Albanian artist Anri Sala’s world-premiere installation The Last Resort, a sound and sculpture work featuring Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major, to Sydney’s Observatory Hill Rotunda.
Time Out is offering 15 double passes to an exclusive after-hours experience of The Last Resort on Tuesday October 17. Enjoy wines, canapés and a stunning Sydney sunset as you step inside the Observatory Hill Rotunda and enter a world of sculpture and sound.
To enter, simply enter your details below by 10am on Tuesday October 10.
