Time Out says

Do not be deterred by the entirely corporate appearance of this building from the street: Level 2 is a little art wonderland, where up to 15 artists at any given time have repurposed the office-style digs into studios.

Parramatta Artists Studios was opened in 2006, previously at a Hunter Street location. In addition to providing residential and non-residential working space for artists, it runs a program of talks, events, exhibitions and workshops geared at making contemporary art practice more accessible.

The Studios aren't open to the public except during programmed workshops and events, and festivals like Parramatta Lanes.

The 2017 artists are: Khadim Ali, Cigdem Aydemir, Kate Beckingham, Harriet Body, Penelope Cain, Kalanjay Dhir, Emma Fielden, Caroline Garcia, Annie McKinnon, Anna McMahon, Catherine O'Donnell, Marikit Santiago, Salote Tawale, Shireen Taweel, Hannah Toohey and Garry Trinh.
