We won’t lie: it was the gold-panning available at TCS Camping Disentis that got us really excited about the Graubünden campsite. But it has much more to offer besides – not least a paradisiacal setting. Arranged beside a lake in a clearing surrounded by pine trees, the campsite has 180 pitches, modern facilities, a lakeside recreation room and a restaurant serving local specialities.
Like all TCS sites, it offers free WiFi, but once there you’ll want to be out and about. As well as the gold-panning, there’s mountain biking, tennis, golf, mini-golf, horse riding and paragliding on offer. As for accommodation, there are modern bungalows, caravans and tipi tents available for guests without their own equipment. From June to September there’s a free bus from Disentis.
