Nordic Dogsled Festival

This is one of Saignelégier's two major events of the year. It attacts around 120 dogsled teams (with approximately 800 working dogs in total). As well as the serious business of competitive races, there's family-friendly activities such as Tombola sleigh rides for kids, trapper courses and a raffle. This year, there's also a "northern lights" display to really get you into the Nordic spirit. The organisers have advised that the event will take place whatever the weather.
