Located in Basel's pretty Margarethenpark at the corner of the Gundeldingen und Bruderholz districts, this large ice skating complex features two ice rinks - outdoor and indoor. The outdoor rink is a whopping 4,200 square metres, while the indoor ice field, which is used for ice hockey matches, is a very respectable 1,800m sq. Top tip: you get half-price admission and skate hire after 5pm. In summer the venue becomes a hockey field.
