Time Out says

To quote the ‘Rocky Horror Show’s wild and unhinged scientist, Dr Frank-N-Furter, “It’s not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.” Be prepared, then, to leave Zurich’s Theater 11 with a serious case of face-ache, because having a good time is not just easy, but 100% inevitable when you’re watching this brilliantly entertaining performance of the ‘Rocky Horror Show’.

After being postponed for several months due to the pandemic, the flamboyant, full-on and all-out-fun musical extravaganza, originally written by Richard O’Brien in 1973, is finally landing in Zurich from April 6-10. The show tells the story of strait-laced newlyweds, Brad and Janet, who find themselves catapulted into the world of Dr Frank-N-Furter, a scientist with a penchant for corsets, fishnet stockings and killer heels. The Dr – who also happens to be an alien, by the way – just happens to be unveiling his mysterious new creation, a man-made, erm, man/Greek god stunt double named Rocky Horror, with a rather unusual mission.

What ensues is a hilarious and salacious romp, full of incredible costumes and memorable songs. This includes ‘Sweet Transvestite’, ‘Dammit, Janet’ and – of course – the timeless ‘Time Warp’, all featured in this gloriously extravagant production and all performed in English, so there’s no excuse not to sing along.

The Rocky Horror Show will be at Theater 11 in Zürich from April 6-10. For tickets and more information, click here.
