Thermalp – Les Bains d’Ovronnaz

It’s worth making the trip by postbus to reach this mountain spa at 1,400m altitude, if only because of the beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. Arrive after a day’s hiking or skiing and you’ll really appreciate the curative benefits of the thermal waters of its three pools (two outdoor, one indoor). Features in the accompanying ‘panoramic alpine spa’ include Finnish sauna, steam rooms, hammam, jacuzzi and cold water plunge pool, while the centre is also known for its physiotherapy and alternative health treatments.
