Elevating this Valais spa above some of its neighbours is the immense 182m-long water slide, a giddy prospect for kids – and big kids. In fact, there’s something for everyone in this large complex, the biggest in the Alps. Those looking to kick back and relax can do so in the thermal pool, the lazy river and the grotto with its underwater massage jets, while serious swimmers can do laps in the Olympic-sized pool and kids can enjoy an uninterrupted splash about in the family pool inside. In winter only the thermal (outdoor) pool and the indoor pools are open. The Brigerbad also has a full range of spa treatments along with sauna and hammam.
