This new boutique established in Lausanne’s hip Marterey district showcases the jewellery of French-Swiss designer Erelle Bertolini, who has been developing her designs since 2008. While her jewellery is already sold in many shops throughout Europe – including Anthropologie in London – this is her first dedicated boutique. The young designer says she takes inspiration from the 1920s and the 1970s to create pieces that have a hippy, folk vibe, using metals, semi-precious stones, leather and organic materials. Certainly, the items displayed on white walls in this minimalist shop have a new-age, almost tribal feel. The shop also sells items from Erelle’s favourite designers. Find hats from Gladys Tamez Millinery, Clare Vivier clutch bags and silk scarves by Equipment, as well as Swiss clothing brand Berenik and lingerie by French designer Isabelle Collomb.
