First-timers who came to try the famous “moules et frites” might find procedures at Les Halles slightly confusing. There is no proper table service, drinks need to be ordered from the bar and food from another counter, where you get a number in exchange for your money and then wait for the food to be delivered to your table. However, with its alternative feel, quirky interiors, bar games and adjacent shop, Les Halles has been an institution in Zurich for decades.
